Pink Kitchens

Pink is real statement colour to incorporate into your kitchen designs. More popular than you may think, pink is often used in modern kitchens and luxury German kitchens. Pink kitchens are youthful, vibrant and contemporary, creating an atmosphere of femininity and romance. Lighter hues such as powder pink keep things sweet and hint at retro 50s styling, whilst a shocking bright pink will inject a burst of energy into any kitchen design.

Pink can complement beautifully any style of kitchen. Traditional kitchens, in particular shaker kitchens look simply charming in a powder pink hue, keeping the atmosphere sweet and light. Painted wood doors in the light pink create a pretty and youthful environment, creating an aura of happiness and having a calming effect. Painted veneer kitchen doors create an almost identical aesthetic to the painted solid wood doors.

Pink is an outstanding fit for a contemporary kitchen, as it is a more unusual choice and such a vivid and vibrant colour. A bright fuchsia hue looks striking when incorporated into modern styles such as high gloss worktops or a sleek quartz stone worktop in a 20mm thickness. The same can be said for the use of pink in German kitchens, as the high levels of contrast fuchsia will create, against either a brilliant white or a glossy black, create a truly remarkable effect. This contrast highlights the clean lines and definitive structures of German kitchens. High gloss units look especially great in pink as the boldness of the colour amplifies the reflective mirror effect of the gloss.

Matt pink kitchens offer a completely unique alternative to other pink kitchen styles. The matt finish can be combined with any shade of pink, light or dark. The result is kitchen doors which appear buoyant and full of life, highly fashionable and upscale.

Quartz worktops come in a wide variety of pink shades, one being from a brand Compac with the name Fucsia. This can look stunning contrasted against high gloss white kitchen doors or matt black doors, or indeed a variety of others. Alternatively pink kitchen doors look fantastic contrasted against a polar white worktop, or against a black quartz stone with a mirror fleck in it, which will reflect the natural light. For a really bold and contemporary look, you could match pink kitchen doors to a pink quartz worktop. Whatever your personal style, there is a vast range of choice for you.

Designer Kitchens have just finished fitting us a lovely kitchen. They impressed us at all stages of the process. We had some ideas about what we wanted but they were able to think outside the box and come up with ideas which no – one else did
